Skill Rating Information

At present, there are three ways for a player to rate their skill/play level in pickleball:

Self-rating “S” uses the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) or Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) skill level guidelines  (2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 levels)

Club rating “C” is when a club rates their own members using skill level guidelines for the purposes of organizing various play sessions. This rating is not sent into the USAPA or the PCO.

Tournament “T” rating is obtained during a sanctioned pickleball tournament and is determined by the Tournament Director or Ratings chair depending on the player’s level of success against other players. This rating has a “T” designation for the player on the USAPA or PCO website.
